What are Recipe Packs?
Recipe Packs are hand-picked collections of recipes curated around a theme — like “Quick Weeknight Dinners”, “Italian Classics”, or “Healthy Meal Prep”. Instead of importing recipes one by one, you can browse packs and import entire collections at once.
Each pack includes:

- →Recipe count and description
- →Preview of included recipes before importing
- →Automatic duplicate detection

Browsing & Previewing Packs
- 1.Visit /packs to see all available Recipe Packs
- 2.Each pack shows the theme, number of recipes, and a description
- 3.Tap “Preview” to see the full list of recipes before importing
- 4.The preview shows recipe titles, cooking times, and any recipes you already have (duplicates are highlighted)
Importing a Pack
- 1.After previewing a pack, tap “Import Pack”
- 2.Honest Recipes automatically imports all recipes from the pack
- 3.Duplicates are skipped — if you already have a recipe with the same title, it won't be imported twice
- 4.All imported recipes appear in your main library immediately
Recipe Packs are stored locally on your device after import. They work offline and sync across devices if you have cloud sync enabled.
Duplicate Detection
Before importing a pack, Honest Recipes checks your library for duplicate recipes based on the recipe title. Any recipes you already have are highlighted in the preview and skipped during import.
This means you can:
- →Import multiple packs without worrying about duplicates
- →Re-import a pack to get only the new recipes you don't have yet
- →Keep your library clean without manual checking
